RIPENING
After planting: Use AVANTAGE 10-52-10, 3-4 times per season in sandy soils particularly. Use 10- 20 kg / hectare AVANTAGE 10-52-10, every year before blooming.

For a quick- relief from nutrient deficiency symptoms and for providing micronutrients spray with 2-4 lit / ton AUXENOL (5-5-9).

Just before blooming spray with 2 lit / ton FS/347 for preventing flower and fruit drop.

Fertilizer use this period should follow an NPK ration of 1:1:1 and 1:2:2.
Therefore apply by irrigation AVANTAGE 20-20-20 and 10-20-24 types at 20 days intervals.

Combine with irrigation 20 lit AUXENOL + 10-30 kg / hectare AVANTAGE (20-20-20).

Fruit development stage
To improve the size and general quality of the fruit, fertilizers should be applied to the soil as well as in the form of foliar sprays with high potash content. Calcium is also recommended at this stage, as calcium supports the firmness of the flesh and the color of fruits, prolonging the storage life after harvest.

Spray with 2 –4 lit. / ton AMINOCAL (Calcium with aminoacids), 2-3 times at 15-20 days intervals to prevent the IFR symptoms (insidious fruit rot) which is due to calcium deficiency. These treatments increase the quantity of marketable fruits over 90% and total yield. At the last stages of fruit development spray with 2 lit /ton ORGANIKON (0-0-30) for earlier maturity and color formation.

Use the water soluble powder MICOSAT WP for soil enrichment with rhizosphere bacteria, fungi spores and plant symbiotic endomycorrhizal fungi of the genus Glomus. Apply 3 -5 kg/ hectare at planting or in the first irrigation. Apply once every 2-3 years to maintain the beneficial microorganisms in the root area.

HERBICIDES
LYPHASE 48SL (Glyphosate 48% IPA) Use in orchards of 2 years old and older against the perennial weeds with rates: 8-10 lit./ha against Cynodon dactylon at 15-25 cm., 10-12 lit/ha against Convolvulus arvensis at bloom, 5-6 lit./ha against Cyperus spp. after bloom and 5-6 lit./ha against Sorghum halepense at 35-50cm. Sprays may be directed at target areas in the field.
